It can be done in 10 seconds without the fear of the graft escaping from the injector/cartridge. The DMEK Guard device can be used with the most current available and prospective DMEK and DESEK/DSAEK injectors and cartridges.  

Descemet stripping (automated) endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK/DSAEK) is still one of the most used techniques for corneal replacement therapy, especially for the complicated eye.
