TissueGUARD GmbH is a start-up located at the IPF in Dresden, Germany. We are a young international, dynamic team that is providing material solutions for artificial tissue production. We are actively searching for a business developer to substitute our current financial and marketing manager as a pregnancy replacement. Our seeding grant provides prospective funding for a substitution for the period from 15.07.2019 to 30.11.2019 with the option of extension.

Task description:

  

Your main responsibilities are the further development of a business model, secure follow-up financing and establish a marketing and sales strategy.


  

Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


  • Research prospective new clients for lead generation purposes, and lay the  foundation for strong, long lasting relationships.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and monetization models.
  • Develop a good understanding of clinical design and the services required by the client.
  • Assist in the marketing of TissueGUARD at local as well as worldwide conferences and other marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with clients in the local market by delivering client presentations and development of budgets and proposals.

Qualifications:

  

The ideal candidate possesses minimum 2 years related business development experience in a similar field (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology). You should hold a degree in Health Sciences and/or tertiary qualifications in Business. You will have the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, a high standard of professional conduct, and a sales driven approach. 


The candidate should be able to

  • work autonomously within the team structure and communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • coordinate the internal and external communication and take over project management tasks
  • speak fluent in both English and German


During the working period within the seed phase the candidate must be local to Dresden.
